Psychological Support Project “Ti Sostengo” (I Support You)
Anpas ER Projects

Always there, even in difficult times
Providing psychological support and assistance to volunteers and employees of ANPAS Emilia-Romagna Public Assistance who face critical and traumatic situations.
Such events can have a strong emotional impact, manifesting themselves in anxiety, distress, depression, fear, confusion, aggression, and disorientation, destabilizing even the most experienced operators.
Intended recipients:
Victims of critical events: people affected by disasters, trauma, or war.
Rescue workers and operators: those involved in crisis management, including:
– Rescue workers active in the field.
– Personnel engaged in search and recovery operations (e.g., digging through rubble).
– Coordinators and operations managers.
– All those who, together with survivors, experience feelings of helplessness, guilt, distress, anxiety, and despair.
The service focuses on emotional and psychological support.
It recognizes the psychological impact of emergency situations on both victims and rescuers. It aims to provide specific support to prevent and manage the negative consequences of such experiences.
