Together in emergencies
ANPAS Emilia-Romagna can count on a group ready to intervene throughout Italy in the event of disasters.
Thanks to steady progress in terms of equipment, volunteer training, and organizational strategies, associations in Emilia-Romagna have always been able to respond to emergencies in their region. Their first large-scale intervention took place during the Friuli earthquake in 1976. Since then, volunteers from the Public Assistance organizations affiliated with the regional ANPAS have responded to all major national and international emergencies.
All project activities are carried out in collaboration with the Region, which uses an agreement to network volunteers from provincial coordination groups and regional structures.
